Rachel trained at Middlesex University then went on to complete a directing internship at the HB studios New York. Her work as an assistant director includes Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Popcorn at Liverpool Playhouse both directed by Robert Delamere, Art at the Whitehall Theatre and A Slice Of Saturday Night at Mountview drama school both directed by Hannah Chissick, Rebecca national tour directed by Patrick Mason. Ducktastic! at the Albery Theatre directed by Kenneth Brannagh. Japanese tour of Blood Brothers, A Midsummer Night?s Dream and The Comedy of Errors at The Ludlow Festival directed by Glen Walford. Equus at The Gielgud directed by Thea Sharrock.
Rachel formed her own theatre company, Rested Theatre Company, in May 2004 with whom she directed How Many Ducks in Stacey at the Union Theatre.
